Ruby here from the Summer Learning Journey team! Great work with this activity. It would be very tricky I think! You would need to have excellent teamwork skills to row effectively. How do you think they would practice these skills?
I wouldn't like to be in a Waka Ama race because I'm not very good at swimming and would be afraid of falling out of the Waka into the sea!

That's definitely something they would be doing! Practising their rowing would be very important. Have you ever done on of those trust courses with your friends? Something like that might also help them with their teamwork skills.
